Whoa.. It's been a while hasnt it! So firstly, hope you all had a lovely Christmas, and a Happy new year to you all!!

As you might have noticed I have taken a little break from blogging. Mainly from lack of inspiration and being pretty busy. My makeup addiction has calmed down alot recently. I've been trying to use up what I have, otherwise I end up with piles of stuff that I don't use! So yeah, thats that one.

I have however been shopping (of course) quite a lot. So below is a few snaps of what I've been wearing recently.

Really into collars at the moment. Peter Pan collars.. shirts under jumpers, you name it. Infact I've been sporting this look a lot lately..

My new Zara coat.. so warm! And long enough to not get a cold Be-hind. Thats important you know..

Been wearing the good old McQueen scarf lately.. classic piece!

Also the leather shorts, even know they stick to leather seats... hmm.

And lastly my lovely ALDO sale shoes (still on their website I believe) They may be slightly too small and I can only wear them for aboutttt an hour.. but its cool, everytime I put up with them I'm stretching them slightly. Right? Anyway, I love patent and black at the moment, these are lush. Oh and theres the McQueen to.

So will be posting more, *promise*, although may be more fashion based. A girl always needs a new outfit, afterall.

111. Bun-a-licious

I am loving the current 'bun' hair trend! My hair is still growing out, and its about 2/3inches from my shoulders now which still isnt long enough for the top knot buns..

However, on my recent search for bun donuts, I brought one that was wayyy too big - my hair was too short, surely they must sell smaller donuts for us shorter haired girls? YUP. Hello Claires accessories, and thank you.. (excuse the fake tan on hand.. oppsie!)

Come in a pack of 2, I can't remember the exact price but it was around the £3/£4 mark (bit of a bargin!) Perfect size for my length hair, you could get away with it if your hair is a little longer to..

These things have been around for YEARS, its so funny how all of a sudden everyones loving them and using them.. I would never have picked one up a few years ago!

I'm pretty sure you probably all know how to use one, but if not leave a comment and I'll try to do some sort of tutorial! Its so easy and quick, you just need ALOT of hair grips!!

I had a bit of retail therapy this week and brought a gorgeous fur coat from River Island. Its black, brown and has hints of plum.. loveeee it! This is the only reason I want it to get cold, so I can wear it and be all warm and snuggled! Scarf is from New Look..

I'm also quite into cosy oversized jumpers at the moment.. this is also from River Island and I have worn it so much, so comfortable! Looks lovely with slouchy jeans for daytime and leather shorts for evening (which is what I wore it with to a Britney concert, along with my 'I love britney tshirt', 'cos I do you know!)

Also loving simple, frosty makeup - Mac's Lady Gaga Pink lipstick, with a swoop of Mac's Phloof on the eye, Flamingo by Sleek on the cheeks and loads of mascara on top lashes, and a hint on the bottom.. this is how I'm doing it right now!

Oh and my friend asked me to update, so HI MEL! (And look, I'm on 111 posts!)

110. The wedge-factor.

So, I have always had a bit of a thing for shoes - what girl hasnt?! However, there are one style of shoes in particular that if I see, I have to buy. Wedges.

Wedges are like my weakness. My favourite & most worn pair of shoes ever are a simple wedge boot with a open toe, in classic black. I brought these gems from New Look last year sometime, and everytime I go out they are without fail on my feet. Comfortable, add length to my little short legs and most of all look amazing with any outfit.. dress, jeans, you name it. Photo below shows one of the many occassions they have graced my soles (see what I did there??!)

I have been on the hunt for another pair of wedges, I don't know why because I have enough, but still, this is dangerous territory. I have found a fair few.. here are my 'highstreet wedge picks' for this week.. (clock the shoe for links/info where to buy!)

109. Warehouse get giving.

Some of you may be aware about the Warehouse WareStyleTreats on Twitter. They have been giving away wonderful prizes to their Facebook & Twitter followers for the past 30 days, today being the last. Sadly I have not won any of their amazing prizes, but I have been virtual shopping - every girl knows what this is!

I have really been trying to mix up my style lately. It has been one of those life changing years for me, and this always makes me want to wear different clothes, and try to be a bit more daring (scary word!) I am ditching the black (well, some of it) and trying to inject a bit of colour, and well, FUN into my wardrobe. I always think of Warehouse as somewhat sophisticated with a twist of fun and you can pretty much get an outfit for any sort of occassion.. work, wedding, parties and casual. This is a trait that I find alot of shops arent capable of.

Here are my top picks..

This jacket is just amazing. I love the patches of beadwork & sequin, and the colour is so netural that it could be easily worn with a white vest top and jeans. Really like it with white shorts to, great for festivals! Love it!

I saw this in real life and it is just STUNNING. Gorgeous bead work, this is great for any occassion. Lovey with a blazer for smart, or jean jacket for casual.

Love the splash of red in this one. Can imagine it with bright red lips and winged eyeliner.. lovely.

This is one of those dresses that can be worn ANYTIME, summer with sandals, winter with brown tights. I absoultely love the neckline paired with 3/4 sleeves, something about that style always attracts me. I think the print would be stunning paired with tan sandals and bags.

I am really loving this patterned jacket trend right now. This is especially very bright and colourful, great over navy. I love how Warehouse have styled it in this picture to.

108. A bit of Mcqueen..

I have been eyeing up Alexander Mcqueen scarves for years, from back in the day when the Olsen twins were going through the nicely dressed stage, and in the height of Nicole Richie. Now that I'm 23 I figured it was about time I purchased something for myself that was a bit more luxurious than what I'm used to, I am a highstreet girl afterall!

So yes, I brought a nice, new, shiny Alexander Mcqueen Scarf, and I love it.

It is 100% silk, so is just lovely to wear. It just has that feel of quality to it and okay, I will admit.. I even brought it a special box to live in.

It is such a versatile item, you can wear it for casual and smart occassions - so I knew I would get my money worth. I brought mine in a shop at Lakeside called Choice, but you can buy it online at Selfridges. Shop around though, mine was a bit cheaper than that!

I wore mine on holiday in the evening with a simple black maxi dress (Topshop) Even in 30Degree heat it felt good. I stroked it all night though, and got a bit scared when I was drinking.. (is it just me that gets like this over things I love?!)

And to be even more naughty, I just purchased a lovely baby pink one from ebay (£15 though, so we'll see how that one turns out! I will post, you never know.. you might all be walking around in Mcqueen scarves for £15 in a few weeks! *fingers crossed*)

107. Shops.

So it was my birthday on the 28th of June, and as you know I went on holiday a few days after that. You know what that means? I had birthday money and vouchers awaiting my return from holiday! Very exciting! So before returning to work I had a few days and what better way to spend them than walking around a few shops hey!

Over the last few months I have changed alot and I think my style has to, it kind of reflects a new me, as corny as it may sound! A bit more daring anyway, whats the point of fashion if you can't enjoy it?

So this first dress is my favourite. A classic cream, shirt dress.. when you wear it, it oozes class, I feel a bit sophisticated in it! Miss Selfridge - £30ish, a little more pricey I suppose but totally worth it! Comes with a tan belt which sets it off.

Another Miss Selfridge beauty, and this one was in the sale! Another classic shirt dress, but this one is a coppery/bronze shade and slightly baggy. It has that 'boyfriend shirt' feel, paired with a belt to pinch in the waist, and as you can see nice big wedges it has a bit of a sexy feel to it. Love it! Think this was reduced to £17!

This skirt is very daring for me, but I loved it when I saw it! I have a bit of a thing for the colour pop trend at the moment.. this mayyy be a little 'The Saturdays' but hey, they are hot, its all good! I paired with a matching Topshop top (that I already had, how lucky of a match is that!) and a blue belt, but for a little more of a subtle look a black top and black belt would work just as well. This is a H&M number and was a bargain at £9.99!

A good successful shop makes my day!

106. Holiday blues..

Alohaaa! I am back from my holidays, sadly! Currently it is raining and cold in England - ALOT colder than the 40 degree heat I have been used to recently! But I'm having a nice cosy PJ day so it has its up sides somewhere I suppose!

I just love seeing above the clouds! Look how lovely they look here!

104. Winged eyeliner

I love a nice winged eyeliner. It is classic and dramatic all in one and of course very flattering. After not wearing this look for so long I have reverted back and now absoultey love it.

Of course, the celebs love it to. The main one being Miss Fearne Cotton, who always sports a winged eyeliner. I saw these photos of her recently from the Glamour Awards and thought she looked stunning.

After seeing these photos of Fearne I have sported the look pretty much everyday! It is the perfect 'day to night' makeup look. I wore just the eyeliner to work, later adding Mac's Phloof! in the inner corners, and a Sleek Matte black eyeshadow in the crease. Not too much but still dramatic enough.

I got ready in a mega rush last night, as I had a private view to go to first, and then a bit of a booze up.. so apologies for the bad quality photos, and cropped ones - I didnt take any before I left! You get the idea though..

Can't beat the classics!

103. New Mac goodies!

At the begininng of this year I got a new job, so I obviously left my old one! The people I worked with had a collection for me though and recently gave me a voucher for MAC, which was so lovely! I had a little spend up with it, so heres what I brought!

I brought a empty 4 palette (not very fun to look at, so no photos!) for when I go on holiday or away overnight etc. I love the bigger one, but its nice to just be able to fit the smaller size in my bag!

I then had a random look in there this weekend and picked up two eyeshadows. I have blue eyes, so I'm always looking for colours that make them pop, orange/copper tones are best for this, so I stuck to that type of colour palette..

EXPENSIVE PINK - This is a gorgeous gold/rose-pink/coral shade, and really brings out the blue in your eyes. Its so pretty in real life, and a colour you can pair with absolutely anything! I always like an eyeshadow that I can quickly put on on its own for work for quickness and this is one of those!

I didn't wear much of it today as I got ready in a rush, so a quick brush over - but you can see it brings out the blue. If you've also got blue eyes this would be perfect!

SUMPTUOUS OLIVE - I was drawn to this colour.. I think it might have been because when I swatched it, it went so nicely with the 'Expensive Pink'.. Pink and olive always look so lovely together! Again, a basic colour that can be worn with anything. I would most likely wear it in the crease with phloof! as I think those two would work really nice together! I always love colours that can be worn for the day and then darker for the night and this is one of those!

So thats that! My palette is getting fuller! Three more and its full (well, except i have an empty one in there at the moment, so maybe I need four! ;) ) I do want a few more though, as the colours in my one right now are all a bit random..

101. Mememe

When watching The Only Way is Essex a few episodes ago I noticed Lydia's nailvarnish and instantly wondered what it was. It was this gorgeous bright lilac colour. Luckily I follow her blog, and she posted about all the clothes she had worn through the last series, and she listed what nail varnish it was.

So apparently this was Mememe - Generous. I went out and brought it straight away, and I even got a bit excited to try it. I have been looking for this type of colour for ages.

But.. sadly, I was very let down. The photo below shows one coat, and as you can see there is hardly anything on my nail.

Next one shows 3 coats.. I hate having to apply too many coats because not only does it take ages to dry, I always find because theres more layers it chips easily, so 3 coats was the most I applied, but even so you can still see my nail underneath!

Its consistancy is way too thin and its not atall pigmented. I don't know how Lydia's nails were that bright - 10 coats maybe? For £4.50 I was really dissapointed and I doubt I will bother trying anymore of their nailvarnish's, its such a waste of money because I know I won't ever reach for this again. A big fat 0 out of 10 from me!

100. Highlights.

Oh, Hello 100th post!! :)

A few weeks ago I set out to find an amazing highlighter. My at-the-time favourite, which was the highlighter in Sleek's contour kit was perfect, but sadly didnt last me very long. I do have a tendancy to like a bit of shimmer on my cheek.

I went shopping on numerous occassions and swatched pretty much everything I could find. From drugstore to higher brands. I knew exactly what I wanted.. something light but something that could be seen - and didnt need layers and layers to do so. I found the perfect one..

It is infact With love Baked Bronzer by Accessorize, £6..

The product;

I was suprised when I saw the new Accessorize makeup stands in Superdrug. I didnt expect too much because of course this brand is more known for accessories, not makeup. (Kind of like when the Olsen's realised perfume..) But on further inspection I was pleasantly suprised.

So even though this product is called a bronzer, I think the lightest colour is more of a highlighter - maybe thats because of the shimmer in it. It is gorgeous though, and actually resembles alot of the mineralized products from MAC - at £6 though, who can go wrong.

As we all know photographing highlighter is a bit of a nightmare, but I think its visible in these photos..

I add it to my cheekbones, and then dust a little bit under my eyebrows and over my lips & nose - I think thats a habit, but I always think my skin feels dewy and alot more fresher with it on. I like my skin to be powered, so I instantly lose that dewy skin, whereas this puts in back.

Think I will be trying out these products alot more now!

099. Happy Easter

Firstly, HAPPY EASTER!

So, I have had a longggg break from updating here. It doesnt seem like it has been that long, so obviously the past 2 months have flown by for me. I have been so busy, and had a lot going on, but I am back!

So first things first, an outfit of the evening.. I went to a party this weekend, and it was a the only way is essex theme - I absolutely loveee that show, so I was very happy. Also, as I am from Essex, my outfit was just something I'd wear anyway - so it was easy enough!

Anyway, armed with my peach lambrini (see, even keeping the theme to the drink!) off I headed, I met so many lovely people as well - so all in all, a very very good Easter Weekend!

098. Feather love.

Feathers. I have been slightly obbsessed with bows (as everyone has!) and at one point hearts, buttons (yep) daisys, you name it. However, I never thought feathers would be one of my obbsessions, but recently it seems to have crept in!

I saw someone wearing peacock feather earrings. later I saw them in Topshop and River Island, and after spending a few hours searching.. found some on asos and pretty much everywhere.

Because I have shorter hair, the big outrageous designs would probably look a bit odd. I can imagine them looking gorgeous with thick, long hair.. or long hair up in a bun etc. So when I looked for a pair to buy I was looking for slightly more tamer styles and I wanted something cheaper. I don't think I could spend over £5 for earrings that are just a feather. Call me a little tight but the Topshop prices were way too much for me.

I found the following earrings on ASOS for £6 and they were perfect. Simple, not too big and over the top.. perfect, and a lot cheaper than most styles I had looked at previously!

I thought I would just have a quick look on ebay, you never know afterall! I typed in something like 'Peacock earrings' and loads came up, at some very lovely cheap prices! I got a pair for £1.59, which is an absolute bargin!

They weren't trimmed though, but I found the untrimmed ones were cheaper, and I thought I might aswell try and trim them myself..

(A bit wonkey - they are harder to trim than I first thought!! I like the fact there not perfect though :) ) I prefer them trimmed, plus I think they would tickle your neck and feel weird if they were left long like that!

Anyway, to finish this post off nicely.. here are my barrrgin feather earrings from our old favourite.. Primark! £2 is a lot nicer on the bank account, and I actually think I like these more than some of the more expensive ones!

097. Mac - Brule

Recently I purchased MAC - Brule. I think I had seen it used in various tutorials on youtube, and I wanted a light colour for my new palette! I didn't really know wether I would use it much, as I felt it was a bit boring. I must admit, when I go to MAC I feel I have to buy the most bright, colourful eyeshadows because of the pricing, instead of sticking to the basics - which is what I did when I brought Brule.. but could it be the perfect basic eyeshadow?

Well a big, fat Yes!!

A simple Matt cream colour. One swipe evens out skin tones but a few swipes creates a bright looking eye, without looking totally white.

I have used it everyday since I brought it and although it doesnt make that much of a difference in terms of colour, it evens out my eyelid skintone. I feel it makes me look more awake, and bright eyed. Its also a gorgeous colour with a strong eyeliner flick and red lipstick, but I have even just been wearing it alone paired with mascara for a very basic look. You can basically do everything with it. Everytime I use it i think of it as classic, and I like that.

Anyone else swear by Brule?

I havent always liked Rihanna that much - shes just been around. But recently I have become in love with her latest style and look - probably due to the fact that I absolutely love her new album!

I was looking through Grammy photos today and saw a photo of her. Whilst her dress was a bit crazy (but different, which is always nice - we don't want to see carbon copies all the time!) I fell in LOVE with her makeup! Take a look and see what you think.

I thought her hair looked lovely to. A new hair inspiration!

I may well be trying this when I get some time to. I love that its summery, fresh and uses muted pinks.. just like her 'Only girl in the world' video, check out if you havent seen - all pinks and absolutely gorgeous, especially for us girly girls to watch! Love it, love her!

My current hair aspiration below.. maybe with a bit of a fringe, we'll see! (however, sadly growing it is taking me longer than I thought!)

Jessica Alba's classic bob..

A nice classy, stylish long bob. Funnily enough thinking about it.. I did have this hairstyle before I cut it all off and I didnt like it then anyway. But.. maybe having short hair for so long will change my mind? Hmm..

Yes, definitely a better look on Jessica, but who knows. I am so going to grow my hair only to cut it all back again - I do it everyyyytime! haha!! Everytime I tell my Mum and boyfriend I'm growing it their all "Yeahhh, right, we'll see how long that lasts!!" Can't resist the hairdresser! I get bored, what can I say :)

Anyway, to make it look half decent, I've currently been rocking the "headband" hairstyle.. blow-dried backwards and stays there! haha! Although, anyone else suffer from headband headaches? Oww :/ Even the loose headbands end up giving me a raging headache, and I can't take them off mid-day because I look like I have LITERALLY been pulled through a bush.. in all directions! I guess I am going to have to put up with it!

Rocking the H.H style.. if only you could feel the pain I am in! Ha, just kiddin.. takes atleast a few hours to kick right in!

Also kinda loving good old Stacey Soloman's (known for being a X Factor contenstant for those who don't know) ombre hair at the NTA's tonight. Very extreme, but suits her, and so funny how it instantly makes her look fashionable - never saw her that way before!

I would defo be rocking the ombre hair if mine was long enough! So, yes, another hair post - expect a few at the moment! I also won some eyelashes and recieved them today, so will do a post on them soon.. exciting!

094. My new MAC palette

I got a MAC voucher for Christmas and I finally got to go to my nearest MAC store to spend some of it! I had been thinking about what to buy with it, and I decided that I should buy a eyeshadow palette - I buy the eyeshadows in the cases all seperately and because of this I don't always use them all - normally only the 2 I keep in my daily makeup bag!

I brought the palette that holds 15 pans. I had so much fun in de-potting my eyeshadows.. is that a bit sad? Ha. I could have done it all day but I actually only own 7, so it didnt take me very long.

It is something I havent done before, so with a quick search through some of my YouTube subscriptions I followed Fleur De Force's video which was so easy! Some of the videos I found randomly involved using flames and rubbing alcohol and whatever else.. whereas this one I only needed grease proof paper, hair straighteners, a pair of scissors (or a knife, but I'm clumsy, so I chose a safer option!) and some magnets (to stick on the back of the pan's to make sure they stay in the palette) for this I used a freebee car magnet we had laying around and cut it up into small square - worked a treat!

So below shows my empty pots! I'm going to see (and hope) that my nearest MAC will take these back as part of the 'back to MAC' so that I can get a free lippie! I was sad to remove Tempting from the collection pot, but I wanted it in my palette so oh well!

And.. my finished palette, haha it looks so empty! I must say though, I have the urge to fill it now and make it look all pretty. I wanted to buy Club, but sadly they didn't have it!

My Fake?

I was a bit annoyed when de-potting a certain eyeshadow though. I noticed when following the same method it was SO much harder to get out the pot. I had to really force it, which made the metal pan dent. Then when I tried to get the label off the bottom of the pot it was really difficult to remove, and when it finally did it wasn't sticky like the other labels so it just peeled off the bottom of the pan.

On further inspection I noticed it was totally different to the other empty pots, as you can see below it looks like loads more glue has been used and there is a ring of plastic, which is also in the bottom of the pan. I remember I brought this on ebay, and it must be a fake! I wondered why it wasn't very pigmented when I used it a few times.

So.. wish I didnt leave them positive feedback but oh well! I'm otherwise very pleased with my palette and can't wait to get it all full up!

093. I won something!

So.. last week I was very lucky (this is very unusual for me!) and I won Laura's (emeraldgreen88) giveaway.. I was very excited as its the first giveaway I have ever won, so thankyou Laura! I thought I had just won the Sleek Bad Girl pallete (which I was also very happy about as I don't own this one, and loved the look Laura did with it on her giveaway post) but Laura put a few extra suprises in the package for me, I was like a kid at Christmas!

There was a little card inside the package saying congratulations on winning, and she wrote that she hopes I feel better soon (in relation to me breaking my elbow!) which I thought was so sweet!

Obviously the Sleek palette - Bad Girl, which is lovely.. all the colours are so pigmentated which is why Sleek products are so amazing! Great for smoky, evening looks!

Then the few extra suprises which I was so excited when I saw! I don't own ANY Model's Own products.. I have no idea why but I always look and never buy, I think its because there is so much choice of colours, its hard work to figure out which one to purchase!

So, now I own 3 nailvarnish's... L to R Vintage Pink, Emerald City & Top Turquoise. I have to say I did love how Laura put in a couple of green colours.. especially as 'Emerald City' is her blog name and if not done on purpose just a nice coincidence :)! I'm LOVING Vintage Pink, its like a nude but is a bit coppery/pinky based, and its gorgeous on! And Finally at the end, a Model's Own nail art pen in black.. I love nail art and havent seen these before, so we'll see how many cool things I can do on my nails!

092. Holographic!

Folowing the blog world going mad over this nail varnish, I saw it half price in my local Superdrug and of course had to buy it! I wish I had picked up more after finding out they are discontinued, but I think me and my bestfriend got the last two!

So it is indeed GOSH's Holographic, and it is gorgeous! If you've read about this already, I am probably repeating myself.. but this polish does chip really easily, I have just applied a topcoat and I feel it kind of takes away from the effect a bit, so its best to leave it without anything on and just put up with the chipping! It is absolutely worth it though, and for a special occassion I'm sure it would be fine. So, the photos...

Oh and the ONLY good thing about breaking my elbow before Christmas? LONG NAILS! :)

So lately I have been getting mega hair envy.. the abilty to tie it up in a bum, curl it, plait it.. everything, but alas.. mine is way too short.

My hair has been long in the past though, and even though it was fine and not the thick locks I would want, I have come across alot of amazing thickening hair products since 'them days' so who knows?

Here is the days when my hair was nice and long, just had a bad layered haircut and a few random blonde bits (no idea what thats about!)

Anyway, my mission is to grow it. So I'm going to do a post here every now and then to show you how I'm getting on. Exciting, I know. Anyway heres some hair I love. I know I have my tumblr account to thank for this, I was fine with my shirt locks before I started posting there!

I love ombre hair! Who knows, it might take a few hundred years, but I'll get there!

090. Cham Pale.

I was really excited when I saw the swatches for the new MAC collection Cham Pale, this is because I Love my netural tones! I know MAC can be a little expensive, and I do prefer my high street brands, purely for cost.. but I do like a little treat, this usually comes from christmas money!

I picked up two things when I visited the MAC store. I was dissapointed it wasnt online for ages as i usually pick out what I want to buy, and with little time I kind of made a quick decision..

LIPGELEE, BUBBLE LOUNGE - I havent got any lipglosses by MAC and when I swatched this in the shop I was amazed by how glittery it was (as you can see!) - right up my street! It is a tad sticky, but what lip glosses arent! You only need a tiny, tiny bit as well, which I learned after I piled it on and looked a bit over the top! So I'm sure this will last for ages! A bit of a luxury, but worth it!

CHROMAGRAPHIC PENCIL, NC15,NW20 - Again a new purchase for me. I brought this because it can be used many different ways which I like.. as a concealer, and on the water line to brighten the eyes (which works but it sometimes sticks to my lashes which looks a bit weird) I would only recommend it if you wear white on the waterline alot - as this isnt as harsh. I always find white can look too 'fake' and bright, this is a nicer subtle product for that!

i did intent on buying the highlighting powder, but when I swatched it I didnt think it was that effective, I have a sleek one which I found much more effective, so gave those a miss! And of course, the lipsticks were tempting, but I thought of the amount I have un-used, and it put me off.

Speaking of lipsticks I was lucky enough to get the Pink for Friday lipstick by Nicki Minaj..

I must admit, I was a tiny bit dissapointed when I opened the box and realised the product case was the usual black and MAC style. I thought a nice pink rim, or writing - like the lady gaga lipstick, would be a nice touch and make it a little more exclusive!

It is a slightly deeper shade than the Lady Gaga product, and when I put it next to Pink Nouveau it was only a tad lighter, so I think it is inbetween those two shades. I think I have read that it was based on Pink Nouveau as it used to be Nicki.. which is the same as Lady Gaga I believe! If you didnt get to buy it - you can definitely live without it! Just buy those two shades and you pretty much have it :)

I had a little shop today. My Mum took me out as I havent ventured out much with my arm, so it was lovely to get some fresh air, I've been going mad! Although trying things on and getting my purse out became a bit of a hassle, but heres some of the bits I brought in Primark!

I was in desperate need for a new 'go-to' makeup bag as mine is falling to bits, so for £4 I thought this was cute, and the perfect size!

Another bargin! £1! I love daisys, I thought this would be perfect for the festival season! Can't wait to wear this.

Another little bargin gem, £1 again.. my colouring as I wear alot of brown tones, and I love bows. I'm growing my hair at the moment to, so its always easier to wear a headband in it.

I always feel like I buy more than I do in primark, but I walk around putting things back most of the time, so apart from a boring red cardigan, thats all! I was a little dissapointed with the shops at the moment though, all rubbish sale items that have been left behind and trampled on and a few old pieces left at full price. I always hate shops this time of the year.. maybe thats because I do all my sale shopping online.. I can't be dealing with rummaging at the moment!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLLOWERS!! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and of course a lovely New Years eve! I had a quiet one with some friends this year, due to the broken elbow, it was nice though, we played Wii Just Dance (me one armed!) and that was really fun.

I have been slacking on these beauty posts lately.. so here is a lipstick I brought a few weeks ago that I'm very impressed with. To make it even better, it was the bargin price of £1!!! Superdrug, of course.

I was on the lookout for a dark berry sort of colour.. nice with limited makeup and a tan-free complexion (me at the moment!) so this was the perfect shade.

087. Broken bones.

So a week ago today I was walking into work, I think I had walked about 5 steps from my car, I was late, as usual.. so walking faster than any normal person, haha. I slipped/went flying on ice (it wasn't even that icey!) and fell to the floor.

Cant really remember much so I think I blacked out, but I awoke on the ground, more embarrassed than anything as it was infront of a busy road haha. The further I walked into work though the more my elbow hurt, and the bigger it swelled. So straight to A&E I went... a few hours later I have a cast from my shoulder to my fingers.. hello fractured elbow (just in time for christmas!)

Gosh, typing with one hand is harder than I thought!

086. To cut or not to cut.

How I love Sundays!! I appreciate a nice Sunday so much more considering I have had to work the dreaded Sunday shift for 6 years, so when I get one off its the best feeling. I love that its so quiet everywhere, and its the one day of the week when a cosy duvet day doesnt feel that lazy.

I have however had a somewhat lazy week at Center Parcs with the boyfriend, which was lovely. I am however very, VERY sad that as soon as I got home, the piles of snow melted away in the rain.. boo. So its back to work, and back to reality tomorrow.. what a horrible way to start a Monday.

Anyway, the main reason I am posting this post, is because I have NO idea what to do with my hair. I had it all chopped off and gradually it got shorter and shorter. I am now rocking a similar Frankie Sandford, The Saturdays haircut, which I do love. I am however getting to that point where it needs a cut, so its the dreaded question I ask myself before I get it all chopped again.. do I grow it out?

This is where my lovely followers come into it.. you can help me decide... How nice of you! :) Haha.

I feel like posting tonight, so I thought I would just write whatever. I think my lack of posts has been down to the fact that I have been trying to not buy as much makeup lately. I got made redundant from one of my jobs a few weeks ago (I have 2 part-time jobs, so I still have one - which is lucky) but the job I lost I called my 'fun' money, so money that wasnt for saving, wasnt for petrol or lame bills etc - it was mostly for shopping! So yes, I have had to be a little saver with my spending (makeup seems to have been the one to lose out!)

Its not such a bad thing though, it gives me a chance to use up some of the old stuff!

I have been away from my blog for ages - but still reading up on everyone elses! Since my last post I have been to Turkey and I am still bitter about how cold England has been since then. I graduate tomorrow, so thats pretty scary.

I have done wuite a bit of shopping since the absence from my blog, but here are a few little bits that I picked up this week.. clothes will come later.

As I graduate tomorrow, I have to have one of those cheesey graduation photos taken, holding my degree etc.. I bit all my nails off so I wanted some that look the same length as my nails WOULD have been if I didnt nibble them off. These are great! Only thing about them that I dont like is that they already have glue on.. I prefer to put my own glue on as I feel it lasts longer and they feel more 'stuck' on!

Now these got me very excited, so excited infact that I walked off after trying them on without my handbag - yep, left it in the middle of Primark in Lakeside on a stall.. lucky enough it was still there when I realised 15 minutes later.. phew. They are sooo cute, better in real life.. but a suede type of material and even better when they are only £12! I think I was more shocked at how comfy they were, especially for primark! :)

Yeah, I'm the type of person that wants them in every colour.. I couldnt stop myself!

Slightly embarassing at how many shoes I brought, but these were £7!!! New Look goodies!

I have a thing for headbands at the moment, especially when I cant be bothered to wash my hair.. *ewww* haha, but this was £2.00, with 20% off resulting in a £1.60 bargin! I love it, thanks Dorothy Perkins!

H&M - £3.99, I thought these looked very expensive, and as my hair is short I always wear earrings now.

My love for bows still lives on, even if they are EVERYWHERE now, ha, but for £1.50 I had to have these cuties! H&M earrings are always the best, but has anyone noticed how little jewellery they do in there now compaired to the olden H&M days? :(

Primark, I think this was £2 for the set. Pink-er in real life and utterly cute!!!

I was very safe with my MAC collection splurge this month (I am low on funds due to my boyfriend birthday coming up!) and I went for the Evil Queen's Toxic Tale. I love the colour.. its a red but has a bit of a coral/pink undertone! I did want the Bite of an apple blush, but I put it back :( I will probably regret that but oh well!

And I love these. YUM.

Howdy!!! I go to Turkey tomorrow, so posting probably isnt what I should be doing.. but I hate packing so I will do this instead! I went out on Saturday night for my friends 21st and the theme was nautical - sailors and pirates basically! I loved this because I got to do my makeup all sailor themed so here it is...

Seriously, what has happened to 'SUMMER'?!! I am going to V-Festival this weekend and I have brought shorts, tshirts, hats, and nothing warm. Looks like I should have though. Rain and cold weather is forecasted and I am miserable because of this! Boo!

I do however like the denim shorts I brought - wether I get to wear them or not! Zara, £19.99 and very comfy..

I don't know if its just me, but I like to save all "inspirational fashion photos" on my computer, kind of like a personal tumblr! I have a festival one, and even though I will be wearing hoddies and wellies for the entire weekend (Pray for sun please!!) I had planned to do this festival inspired post and I will not let the weather stop me!! I have noticed my posts are lacking makeup at the moment and I realised.. I havent brought any makeup for so long!! Muyst get back into it! I find that I have so much sometimes, when I go to buy something new, I already have the colours in another brand.. anyone else get that, or just me?

Anyway, was kind fond of my BARGIN £12 River Island maxi skirt the other week (LOVED the fact everything had an extra 25% off this week!), so heres a little outfit of the day. Loving maxi skirts and dresses at the moment, they make us shorty's look taller! Yay!

Paired with another favourite of mine - the denim jacket (Primark I think) and a cheapy Primark belt.

I might do a festival style post soon. I'm going to V Festival this year and have been saving tons of photos for a bit of inspiration. Even thinking of customising my straw trilby!! :)

079. Headbands.

I would say this obbsession has been a recent find, but it hasnt. If you read this you might have noticed, I have a bit of a thing for bows (I know they are everyyywhere anyway!) but more specifically, bow head-bands! I have two favourites this week, and they are perfect for covering my short "cant be bothered to wash it today" hair.

This is from Accessorise, reduced in the sale for £6ish to £3 :D I love the colours - they suit my wardrobe anyway, I love beige and blacks together.

Secondly, this one is quite old now. Its from New Look and I have no idea how much it was - only that they also had it in black and I wish I had brought that one to! I havent wore this very much before until now, I think it suits shorter hair (for me anyway) a bit better than when mine was longer, so maybe thats why. I love it :) (Not the best photo but the only one I have right now)

In other news, I got my Degree grade this morning and I got a 2:1, yay!

078. A quickie..

Lately I have been using the same makeup routine everyday and I have to say.. I like it!

I have been using MAC Phloof on the inner corners of my eye and then MAC Tempting on the crease and outside (I have to say I have been using e.l.f blending brush and its brilliant, and very cheap!!).. followed by a line of e.l.f eyeliner pen in Black, and lots of mascara.. simple but effective. I think it takes me about 10 minutes, which is perfect because I am a bit lazy with my makeup in the mornings when its so hot!

I will do a post of my new MAC goodies when I recieve the rest.. I'm so happy I got my hands on Stereo Rose, its gorgeous!

075. This morning's pedicures.

Tuesday morning at 4am (too early!!) I got up and made my way to London, to appear on This Morning again! Its so exciting, I got called back - this time for a pedicure section on the show.

There was 4 women in total doing various pedicures (or having them done on them) I had to use nail-art pens and draw patterns on my toenails and fingernails.. it was harder than I thought, especially as I was in the studio the whole time doing it and it was so hot! I was supposed to paint one of my nails live, but the show ran late and I didnt get to, I didnt even get to speak this time, but it was still another great experience!

I got to meet alot more people this time, mainly because before I left as soon as I had been on the show, whereas this time our slot was moved to the very end of the programme, so everyone hung around a bit more afterwards. My favourite was meeting Gino (The Italian chef who won I'm a celebrity..) he was so down to earth and generally LOVELY! I have always loved Phil to, and he was also very nice. So now time for photos with some people..

And for the nails.. I am still wearing this, I think people think I may be a little odd, as one foot is totally leopard print and the other has all sorts of colours and things drawn on, but whatever!

It was really easy to do leopard print. I used a silver & gold alternated base, a black nail-pen for a U and upside down U, to create the outline. Then using a bronze nail-pen, I coloured the inside, and finally went over the bronze with a glittery gold pen. SO EASY! It doesnt matter if its uneven either, infact it makes it better! It was alot harder to do it with my left hand though, so practise does make perfect. You can see what products I used on the This Morning website. I do reccommend the Silver nail varnish - it applies lovely, this was my favourite! (sorry about the foot photo!)

I guess you could do any colours you wanted with this, so those would look really cool. I might invest in some of these, I only have white at the moment and it was really nice to be able to pick from a wider range of colours, anything is possible afterall! :)

074. OOTD OVERLOAD!!!!

Ahh another busy week. I have three outfits of the day's saved up for you. Might be a little over the top for one post.. but here goes. I apologise in advance for the complete OOTD overload!!!!

First was a day shopping (and oh my gosh has it been a while since I even said "shopping" to myself!!

Leggings are from H&M many months ago. Anyone that knows me in real life will know I have a bit of a 'thing' for leopard print. Bed covers, car dice's, winter coats.. shoes, and it goes on. I love it, so these leggings are one of those things I brought because of it. I like them! Top is also H&M, plain and baggy, which is what these leggings need. Sandals are primark, and so is the bag. (River Island changing room photo to - the jeans behind me were so gorgeous, but I am inbetween sizes in their jeans, so they were a no boohoo!!! :()

This is a trip to the cinema outfit, but me and my boyfriend actually couldnt go in the end, due to having uni stuff to do :( boo. I had a lot of photos to edit, so we were "cool" and did that instead..

Top was a present from my lovely Mum, brought on befores shopping trip, its from topshop.. I love daisy's, so I loved this. New Look cardigan which is old, and obviously Primark linen, which are a bit creased here! I'm smiling/laughing insanely because I had just put my boyfriend's size 9 shoes on, and they looked funny.. but I cropped those out for you, haha.

And lastly, my university Exhibiton outfit!!!!

I went for a maxi dress, this ones from Primark, and its so nice - you wouldnt ever know it was a nice cheap one! Cardigan is an absolute favourite from Zara, I love it!!! I got a lot of "you look very chanel-y tonight!" which was nice. I love chanel.

Well, I am back! I finished university FOREVER on friday, so I've been recovering from a total lack of sleep over the past few weeks, and today I am still over-tired! I have two weeks worth of exhibition duties - and I am then free.. and no longer a student :( I am going shopping next week, mostly because my boyfriend wants to get me some birthday presents.. but also to make use of my student discount while I still have it. Going to be sad to hand that back over and become a fully fledged adult :( boo! I will post some of my final university work up here maybe, if anyones actually interested? If not.. I wont!!

Anyway, expect alot more posts now that I have nothing to do with myself! I did nip into town after I finished on Friday and treated myself to this amazingly gorgeous headband from h&m which was about £4.99. Its my new favourite!!

I have been so busy lately that all my makeup routine has consisted of is MAC tempting, an e.l.f liquid liner and mascara.. I like this simple look! I didnt even use a makeup brush thats how quick I apply it these days.. roll on the days I can spend atleast an hour getting ready again! I love this MAC shadow, it really brings out blue eyes and you can literally just wipe it on! Its amazing!

070. A irrelevant post, about water..

I AM SO BUSY. I finish university in about a month and therefore no blogging - I dont even get time to think right now. I have to make a 50 page book and you could say I am very stressed!

A quick post today. I was reading through my weekly magazines a few weeks ago and I saw loads of articles (because you know how every magazine basically say the same thing each week!) about coconut water.. how its good for you, makes you lose weight and how all the celebs are loving it right now - que photos of every slim celeb holding one, etc etc. I LOVE coconut, anything.. bounty bars, showergel.. I love the smell and the taste, so that was my main reason for wanting to try it out.

I searched and searched and then at last found some in Holland & Barrat this morning - it was £1.60ish per carton and you get 330ml, which is pricey. Here is me modelling my carton..

I have to say, I was expecting a much nicer taste. It smells a bit.. funny, and it doesnt really taste of much. It reminds me a little of milk mixed with water, but its not that coconut-y. I don't know whether I would drink it hopeing to lose weight, as i think thats impossible.. but it is healthy, the carton says it has the same amount of potassium in as 2 bananas.. but i actually think bananas taste nicer, so maybe I'll stick with them. Has anyone else tried this?

I also brought these cuteee sandals the other day. They were in MR.shoes, reduced from £30 to £12 (they were the last ones and a size 3! Yay for having small feet!!) I have been wearing them today because the sun is out and they are the most comfy sandals ever, they had them in different colours to. I LOVE fringing, I have bags and boots with it on, and now sandals.. haha, obbessed maybe? :P

069. Girls aloud on your lashes.

I got so excited when I walked in Superdrug recently and my friend noticed these new Girls Aloud eyelashes. I love, love, love the normal ones, Nadine's ones being my all time favourite and I would actually go and pick them up over any other eyelashes.. so when I saw these I was happy.

They are festival lashes, which I guess they have named seens as the festival season is approaching! I went to V Festival in Chemlsford last year and don't really know how easy it is to apply these whislt getting ready in a tent, but the idea is there - saves you applying mascara I guess!

I havent brought any yet, but again Nadine is the winner for me right now, I love the multi-coloured diamonds along the lash line, I'm tempted to try them out just to see how much they stand out when you are wearing them! I am a little dissapointed in the rest and maybe this is because they are so crazy whereas I am quite safe with my eyelashes! We'll see though, has anyone tried any of these? What ones would you go for?

Ahh I am still here! This is a post to just let you all know I am around, I havent had any time to update this, it feels like ages since I last did. This weekend I will finally grab some time!

For now though I must share my gorgeous purchase from Linzi shoes, I adore these little sandals, even if the strap around the back is quite tight to get your foot in them and you end up trapping your finger behind your heel... but.. it can be dealt with. My bow obbession may have to stop soon, but I couldnt not buy these! They were £20 I believe..

They do them in black and navy also! I think Next to a similar style in baby pink as well, but these biege/black combo will go with anything. Adore them! Speak soon lovelys xx

067. My new 'do.

As wrote before now, when I saw myself on TV I decided that my 'grown-out bob' was no longer anywhere near the words of 'nice' (after the hairspray wore off that is..) so yes, a haircut was in order! I was sick of my grown-out fringe that wouldnt tuck behind my ear, nor fall nicely in my face - this leading me to just braid it everyday and stick the whole lot up in my ponytail (and that didnt even look good!)

At first I did contemplate having the original bob that I previously had cut back in, but with the words of my wisdom-filled Mum.. "You only live once" so I got the lot chopped off. I did have a little panic when I saw the amount of hair on the floor.. but I do like the thrill of going for something totally different, I used to hate having my hair cut and it looking exactly the same when I left the salon.

And after handing over a photo of Frankie from The Saturdays (google her!) this is what it ended up like. (Thank god for my hairdresser being amazing, it looked just how i wanted!)

Sorry about the picture overload! Now I have to wash it and re-style it... AHHH! It never goes the same when you DIY it, but I'll give it a go! I went and brought all the volume building/thickening products the hairdresser used on my hair, so if there any good I'll write about them to. Lets see how this goes though, I could well be wearing a hat for the rest of my life! 066. A bag of freebies.

As the previous post states.. I was on This Morning last week and I did get to keep all the makeup I used on the show (YAY!!) I an assuming this is because no one else would be able to use it, I was very happy when I saw the lady walk towards me with a white bag that looked like it could be nicely filled with makeup! This is just a very quick post to show you what those goodies were. You can see how they was used by going to the links in the previous post!

I havent used many of these products for a second time mainly because I havent been wearing much makeup lately! I did like a few of these products alot though and I will be trying to recreate the look I did on the program but this time with primer and foundation etc (and less pressure, hah!) I think it would have looked better with a few of those key items! I will be posting the video up asap I'm just waiting for my Dad to put it on DVD for me as I am useless with it, I wouldnt know where to start! So those who didnt see it will actually have a clue what I'm on about when I mention the look I had to do on the show etc (do I even make any sense? I am so tired I think I'm babbling now!)

So.. the products..

This Mac eyeshadow called Knight Divine is a nice smokey grey. I do love smokey eyes and normally use silver/greys so this will no doubt be a part of my 'go to' makeup collection.

Ahh, this Urban Decay Stardust eyeshadow is gorgeously sparkly but oh my god.. they didnt give me a primer on This Morning when I had to apply it and the fall out went EVERYWHERE. I had to wipe all my foundation off to get rid of it, which left me with no foundation which = bad makeup. So yes.. wear with something sticky underneath, like a primer, so that it actually goes on your eyelid and not your entire face. (Space Cowboy)

Body Shop brushes! I havent used these since but I am excited to give them a proper try! I always hear good things about The bodyshop brushes!

For me eyeliners are pretty much all the same.. theres not alot that was amazing about this, nor nothing bad.. its just an eyeliner!

This Bourjois mascara is one I have seen but I do tend to stick to my favourites and don't try alot of different brands out. The brush is small and a more circular shape to what I am used to. I have used this since but wasnt blown away.. I will try again and update you though because I did try it in a rush!

This lipstick is such a gorgeous coral colour. This is by Revlon and is 004 - Pink about it. (Ah, I did wonder why it looked more pink than coral and the name says it all!!)

Coral is everywhere at the moment, and that what this look was based around so of course this is a perfect lipgloss! I loved the colour and wore this over the lipstick, was lush. Clinque - 06, Mimosa Blossom

A clinque bronzer & highlighter. Now, when I saw the price of this I was a little shocked. It is about £23-ish I believe and I do think that is alot for what you get. You dont get a lot of product, and the colour isnt as warm/pretty as I would expect for something of that price. I do think its a nice bronzer, but something you could find something very similar of and maybe for a cheaper price.

Oh.. & I had my hair all cut off today, photos soon!

065. Me and this morning

Wednesday was such an amazing day for me! I got to go to This Morning, be on the show and to meet one of my favourite youtube gurus, Lauren Luke. It was like meeting a celebrity for me because I have watched Lauren's videos for absolute ages - like many of you probably have also. You can see her videos on her youtube here

Lauren's makeup skills are brilliant, she instantly creates amazing looks, full of colour and the latest trends, she also re-creates looks of celebrities. However, that isnt the only reason why she is so popular on the internet and in the world of youtube.. she is such a lovely person. I love watching her videos because you feel like you are watching a friend, she makes me laugh and explains everything she does very precise and simple to follow.

I arrived at This Morning very excited, my boyfriend came along with me for a bit of moral support - he sat in the greenroom for about 4 hours and was very sad he didnt get to meet the lovely Holly, bless him! Lauren was about a few times, but with the nerves I had about having to speak on the actual live show I sadly didnt get a chance to talk to her until we went on the show, I'm sad I didnt get to chat with her more but the morning flew past so fast the next minute me and the boyfriend were sat eating fries in burger King! In real life she is still so gorgeous, and her makeup is as good as you expect it to be, flawless to say the least, when I first saw her in the building she was wearing the Katy Perry look she filmed and looked lovely.

I had to copy a make-up look she had done of Carey Milligan (the other girl on the show had to copy Katy Perry) using a video tutorial she had recorded that morning. We sat exactly where we appeared on the show and put the makeup on, later returning to do a before and after. This was very familiar to me because I have sat by my computer so many times at home and done the exact same thing, but a little scary under the pressure of having the results shown on TV, haha! A glitter eyeshadow left glitter fallout all over my face to, so I rubbed all my foundation off, but whatever, it was so fun. I got to keep all the makeup I used, how exciting! I seemed to say that I didnt experiment with makeup much, which after reading this blog its obvious that I do, but I do stick to the same makeup routine every day and every time I go out, so it was nice to do something different and use different products.

The expectations when you meet people you admire are sometimes a big huge let down, mostly because they arent the same in real life to how they appear on Tv or in films, the perception of them is ruined and this has happened to me a few times in the past. However, Lauren was EXACTLY the same in real life.. bubbly and I loved her accent even more, it felt like I was watching her on a video when really she was just next to me! I love the fact that I walked away after meeting her and I felt like I liked her even more than I did before. She really does deserve all the success she has gotten from her videos, I'm so happy that she has her own makeup and is appearing on TV - more people should know about her and have the confidence to play with makeup. She inspsired me, I now have a huge collection of makeup and £0 because of it, but I have something that I enjoy and it is all because of a girl that started to record videos of applying makeup in her bedroom, how amazing is that.

I will post the video as soon as i get it onto the computer, but I wanted to post this just to say what an amazing day I had, I'm still all excited now and I'm sad I can't do it all again!

I have been up pretty much all night because I was far too excited to sleep.. Some of you may have seen me on This Morning today and I got to meet the absolutely lovely Lauren Luke (I was so excited!) 063. Free GOSH eyeliner? Yes please!

Hello! So this is a quick post to express my joy for my freebie of the week... If you buy MORE magazine this week (£1.60-ish) you get a voucher for a free GOSH eye-liner worth £7.. just simply hand it in at your nearest Superdrug (it does say on the voucher that it may depend what Superdrug you go to, so you might want to check first, I went to Lakeside Superdrug for mine. I got mine and was very excited, I love freebies!

Theres so many colours to pick from (I think theres 9) I was going to go for black/brown, walked around Superdrug with it for a little while and then decided to live on the wild side and get a bright, vibrant green (05)

As you can see it is bright and has a nice metalic effect to it. I wore this today - excuse the funny eye photo below, its the best one to show the colour - and it looked nice, a simple and quick way to jazz up the days makeup! It took a while to dry after I had applied it (I ended up with that nice blob along the top of my eyelid!) but dries nicely and stayed on all day.

The only thing I did notice is that it is really hard to remove. You have to really rub it to get it all off and it still leaves a bit of a stain, but hey.. that can be ignored for a simple bargin!

(again, sorry my eye looks a bit out of sync!)

Happy Easter everyone! What a lovely weekend it has been :) I love family times.

I went shopping with my Mum and sister sometime over the weekend, and as usual probably brought too much, but oh well! So this is another haul post, but I have some different posts lined up - I will be doing a tutorial on the hairstyle in my previous blog, I brought the Photoready foundation and will review that after I have wore it a few more times.. and a new fake-tan review. I will hopefully get those up sometime in the next few weeks!

So, what I brought..

The first, this top from Primark - £3, bargin! I love bows and thought this was so cute, just a lazy day tshirt!

Another Primark buy, £2.. my sister brought this a few weeks ago and I was very happy to see they still had them! Cheap tshirts like this are the best! I have a yellow cardigan that was waiting to be paired with this top!

River Island - £5, this was in the sale. Its a size 6, but is masssive - so one to pair with leggings. Nice and comfy, sales are my friend.

River Island - £10, again from the sale. They had this in peach to (which my sister brought so we could borrow eachothers!) I have seen these loads of times but not really wanted to pay much, but £10 is a nicer price for me. I see this paired with a blazer and jeans..

H&M - £7.99 Another pretty top, the peace sign is made from flowers and I love the colours, just a nice simple festival style tshirt!

Bag - H&M, £7.99 - I had to get this when I saw it, I had already brought the boots online and they match perfectly! I am a little gutted I didnt get the bag in black though, so I might venture back to see if they have any left.

Boots - River Island sale £10 - I was lucky enough to happen to go on the river island website as soon as the sale started, so I picked up some bargins (I wont show you all that, you'll be bored of these hauls already!) but these boots are so comfy and I love the fringe effect at the moment. I was considering buying them full price, so when I saw them in the sale I had to get them. LOVE it when that happens!

New Look - £2.50 Another sale! The jewellery was half price and this was so sparkley, I am like a magpie!

H&M - £1.99 I have a thing for flowers in my hair, I have them in every colour except gold, until now! :)

H&M - £4.99 A bit of a festival style thing, but I lost my heart shaped glasses at V festival last year (well actually my boyfriend lost them for me!) so these are a replacement but much more subtle than my bright red ones. I like them for being subtle though.

Primark - £3 Of course, had to have this for bad hair days!

Scarf - market stall £1 - This is me and my peach combo from last week, must say I am loving summery colours right now, all we need now is the sun and warm weather! (Excuse the state of my hair etc, it was COLD and very windy at the time.. windswept hair makes me sad)

I will get those posts/video (I don't really like making videos, but I'll do it just for you guys!) later in the week, I hope you are all having fun munching on easter eggs and enjoy the rest of your bank holiday monday! For me though, I have piles of uni work to STILL get done, mainly because I went away last week and did nothing for the entire time except play Mario karts and eat chinese (yes it was as good as it sounds!)

Woah, busy week!

I am assisting a photographer tomorrow at a wedding (nervous, eeek!) and obviously, if its windy my hair is going to get in my face and annoy me, I already have enough to think about without that happening! I wanted a nice simple up-do, but my hair is very short (I would say about 2/3inches-ish at the back, so it doesnt go up very well. I always have the front of my hair braided on my lazy-hair-days, so just now I thought I would try to braid it all so it meets at the back, and voila.. it does!

I like it, I wil replace the bow with a flower for the wedding, but though I may as well keep this in for tonight to. It is alot easier to do than it seems, maybe i will get round to making a video or tutorial of some sort to show you how, if any were wondering?

I have bought a few makeup bits since my last post (including the Lady Gaga lipstick - yay!) but I am in a rush, and can't find anything.. so for now here are my AMAZING sandals, £4 from Primark. I loveeeeee studs and these look so lovely on - hurry up summer so I can wear them!!

060. Sixty posts!! Peachable..

A few of us were probably let down by not being able to get our hands on the Mac Ripe Peach Blush Ombre... this includes myself. However, I am over it (HA!) and I have been on the look out for peach blushes that could possibly dupe it.

I now have a little bit of a peach coloured obsession.. (lipsticks, eyeshadows you name it..) The first blush I found - and the cheapest - which is this little beauty..

Barry M - Apricot Blusher

I brought this for £4.50 in my local superdrug. I was a little put off when I swatched it on my hand in the shop.. it was a little bit neon, so I already gathered that I only needed a tiiiiny amount on my blusher brush.

I don't have the best photo to show this blush as my camera batteries need to be charged, so a photobooth one it is, but as you can see it is a very nice peachy colour, and more so in real life. I used a tiny amount on my brush to start with, adding more if I wanted to, which is the best way to apply this particular colour. You might like bright blush, but my skin tone would kill me for that! I recommend this for anyone looking for that peach-tone, I guess my advice is just to not use too much or you might be glow in the dark.. But, yeah I am happy with this as an alternative..

I have some more products I have picked up aswell, so expect that at a later date!

While we are on the Barry M subject, I am VERY excited about the release of their new nail varnish colours.. based on pastel shades, which are my all time favourite colours. I don't think I could pick a favourite.. can't wait to get my hands on these!

Just a little post to express how sad I am that the 'MAC Spring Colour 2 Forecast' Blush Ombre in Ripe Peach is completely sold out on the internet and my MAC counter (I totally didnt expect it to be sold out, my MAC counter never seems busy - and I can't imagine many people around here would actually buy it, but I am obviously wrong!). This makes me sad as I desperately wanted it, and I didnt get to have it :( Boo!! The sales assistant told me the last one was sold yesterday to, which makes me even more sad!

Also, I brought a MAC foundation today and they didn't give me a pump for it. Another BOO!

I did however buy a few things from the new collections (again, mega sad about that blush!!) so I will do a haul sometime in the next few days!

058. Hairspray.. that works!

Firstly, sorry for the photobooth bad quality photos I am about to use. I am being a little lazy and not charging my camera up before I do a post!

I read about the best hair products to use in a magazine last week. Now, my hair is quite fine, and I find it hard to get any volume or body, even if I backcomb my hair. So I decided that maybe I just needed a better hairspray, as a last resort.

The magazine said that Loreal Elnett was the best to buy, so thats exactly what I did.

This was about £5ish in Tesco, so it is slightly more expensive than any hairspray I have brought before.. but oh my goodness, it is so worth it. I would re-purchase this again and again, I absolutely love it! It makes me hair full of volume and doesnt leave it crispy!!

Excuse the glasses and silly pout in the photo, just look at the hair! Ha! It's full of body, so I recommend this to anyone with a similar problem to mine!

This is the hair I am sporting today. I tend to have my hair up at the begginng of every week, mainly because I have work, and I always seem to do the whole plait thing right now. This is really easy to do, I did have a youtube video, so if anyone does actually want to see how I do it, let me know in the comments!

And lastly.. I stuck some old Fingr's (you can buy these in places such as Asda etc.) nails that I had wore before.. so I decided to paint them. These nails are actually fantastic, I am completely swayed after wearing these for a second time, I wrote a blog about them a few weeks back incase you didnt see that.

I put them on at the beginning of the day, expecting them to fall off at somepoint.. but nope, then the next day, I went shopping and again, they stayed on all day, and then I went out in the evening and again they were in tact when I got home. I did have to take them off eventually for work - but I was suprised they lasted so long and would have probably lasted even longer if I didnt have to take them off!

I have been loving a certain colour nails that some celebs are sporting at the moment.. Cheryl Cole being one. That lovely dark maroon colour. I painted my nails with Barry M's nail paint in Black, and over the top added two coats of Rimmel Lasting Finish in 193 Black Cherries, and I love it!

056. Shop 'til you drop.

Yesterday me and my lovely Mum went on a little trip to Lakeside (a shopping center, for those who don't know) so I thought I would do a haul, photo form because I don't like making videos as much! I'm only going to show you the clothes etc that I bought. I got some makeup items, but I'd rather use them first to see if there any good, and then do reviews! (Much more helpful hey!)

I am very obbsessed with bows, I have bows for everrrything. So when I saw these in H&M I had to get them, £1.99 what a bargin!

This necklace is GORGEOUS in real life, and is from... primark!! I don't know about you, but I wouldnt have thought it looked like Primark! I can't remember the price, but I htink it was about £3.00ish, so thats cheap as chips! I love this though as it will jazz up any plain top!

Again, another necklace from Primark. I keep looking at this and never buy it, so I thought I would today. I'm loving these colours at the moment, and this necklace will go with anything! This was £3.00 CHEEAP!

Again, a Primark buy.. the clothes were a bit lame there yesterday because it was SO busy all the smaller sizes had gone :( so I only picked up this top. I have this in a black pattern (I've put a photo so you can see..) and as soon as I saw this pink I had to get it. I think these frilly tops go really nice with a high waisted skirt on a night out, and can also be wore with jeans in the daytime! For £5.00 you cant go wrong.

I love the Nicole Richie 'scruffy' look right now (picture below!!) baggy tops, long jeans.. so that was my aim for today. I've been wanting some jeans just like hers, tighter at the top and then baggy and slightly long near the bottom. These are from NEXT £25 (which is cheap at the moment for jeans, compared to River Island so I considered these quite a bargin!) and they fit s nice. Slightly long for me (I have short legs!) but I like that!

I guess this top goes with that scruffy vibe, love the length because some days I do just want to live in my leggings and this is perfect. H&M!

055. Mac £!

Hello lovelys!!

This is a quick post, just asking for your help! I have a MAC voucher, from Christmas, so I thought maybe I should spend it! I want some foundation, as right now I have to mix two together to get my colour, because I picked two wrong colours!

So, what type of MAC foundation is 'the best' in terms of a nice flawless finish? I know the assistant will probably tell me all this when I get there, but I wanted some of your views as well!

Also, I will have some £ left over, so anything else recommened by MAC?

054. Eyelash tints!

I'm going away for a week tomorrow, so me, my mum and sister all had a massive beauty session tonight. Therefore, we all have nice tinted eyelashes.. and I thought I would take a before and after photo for this. I never realise how long and black this makes your lashes look! I think I take it for granted sometimes because I can't compare it to anything.. so a photo is always a good idea!!

I'm not sure on prices, but most beauty salons do this treatment, and it is GREAT if you are going on holiday, you hardly need mascara which is great if your sitting by the pool, I know I can't be doing with makeup in that heat!! I think it costs about £15, which isnt bad atall! The Blue/Black always has a better finish then just black, and you should ALWAYS have a patch test, just in case! No one wants swollen eyes! :)

I'm also liking my hair colour right now.. (Castings Chocolate Truffle) its so red in the sun! However, next I think I'm going to go for a plum colour, kinda loving purple tones right now. Having brown hair is so fun, you can change it much more than blonde!!

053. My fing'rs and my toes..

I was recently sent some items from FING'RS, a false nail and nail art company. I have bitten my nails for most my life, so false nails are always a good product for me to have - even though lately I have nice long nails (well.. otherwise I can't paint them can I? :P) so I was very excited to recieve these products.

They sent me some false nails, one set with little diamond's stuck on them (which I love!) and the others with a checked pattern painted on the nail tip - again very pretty. Also, some false toe nails, which I have yet to try.. I guess this is more of a summer product, or maybe if you have a prom etc to go to and have open toed shoes? My feet have been very cosy in my uggs for most of this year so far, so maybe I will try the toe nails when the sun starts to shine again!

The nails with the diamonds are my favourite, delicate and so pretty - just the kind of nail I like. They are also a nice size, sometimes I find false nails to look TOO false mostly because they are too long. But these are really nice, still long, but not excessive! They really make my fingers look so long as well.

I love the detail on these nails! They stick well, and you get a choice of stickers or glue to apply them with. I like this because sometimes I only want them on for a night out - hence the stickers being a nice touch. The glue is good for longer periods of time.

My favourite product I recieved - mostly because of personal preference - is the nail art stickers. I love these. I love the fact I can paint my nails and place these on top - in 10 minutes creating funky nails. I wore these to work today and got loads of compliments, and my hands felt all pretty. You know when you paint your nails with a new varnish, and you can't stop glancing at them? Yeah, I think I did that most of the time with these stickers!

They work by placing them on your nail, they are slightly sticky already. Then using a top coat, paint over them - this keeps them in place. I found it a little difficult to remove them with nail varnish remover, but figured this was a good sign as atleast they didnt chip or peel off!

As you can see, I have used loadsss of these! Excuse the awful condition of my nails in the photo below (being stressed makes me nibble at them!!) but I think its clear how pretty these are, and even nicer on pale pink nailvarnish. I would love to try coloured ones, but I also like how versatile the white are.

You can buy these in many different shops, the most well known being ASDA and Boots. I want to see what other styles they sell, I like the fact these are funky!

I handed all my uni work in today, currently I am eating chocolate and reading blogs - lovely!

052. Its a short one..

I have to say, I am very excited about my new purchase.. they sold out in a matter of minutes on the website, so as soon as they came back in stock (I wasnt refreshing the page every five minutes, I swear...) I had to buy them asap! I live in leggings, they keep me warm, look nice with uggs and best of all it feels like I am wearing my PJ'S - mega comfy!

051. Outfit of.. other days?

Helllo lovelys!!!

A few outfits of a few days, not of today anyway - because right now I look a mess. A day of uni work is calling me, and its a Saturday :( I did go shopping yesterday, so maybe a little haul could follow to!

Firstly, me and the boyfriend went to see Avatar - such a pretty film! If you havent seen it, it's a good one, I seriously wanted to live in that place, everything was glowing!

My hair needed a wash and I was lazy, so I curled it and added a few flower clips I got from h&m - loving the flowers in my hair right at the moment!

I got this top a while ago from Topshop and I love it. The colours are so pretty, but its hard to match up with anything except black - so scarf was black, leggings were black and the nails, also black.

Then Wednesday I got my hair cut. Its shorter, more choppy and i can have it messy!

Not the best photo of it, but I will get to that eventually!

The uni outfit was as above. I have a big thing for bows at the moment, hence the bow in my hair, the top.. and theres probably a bow necklace underneath that scarf somewhere!

Right now my uni work is calling me very loudly - i swear i end almost every post with the same sentence, its because I should be doing it instead of this! Ha! So a haul post next! Have a great weekend everyone!

050. Hair time.

I'm getting my hair cut on Wednesday - I'm very excited about this, I had it cut a while ago and its completely grown out, making me look somewhat like a mushroom head.. anyway, the fringe/bangs really annoy me right now because they have grown out as well, leaving me finding it very difficult to do anything with it.

For example (I was in London anyway, so the hair is very London-like, does anyone else get really bad hair when in London?! HA, its got to be the underground!!!)

Thats my boyfriend by the way :)

Anyway, so yes.. my hair as it is;

A grown-out graduated bob.

I have no idea what to have done to it though. I used to have a full-fringe and I did really like it, but the growing out process is so annoying. Maybe a swept fringe, I have no ideas!! This is where my readers come in, :) if you have any ideas/photos of haircuts that you think would suit me, please post them in the comments!! So far I have collected a few photos of styles I like...

I'm kind of thinking no fringe, but we will see. I did post my hairstyle timeline, so you can see that here.
